Individual Assistance is Now Available
Saxapahaw Forward and Safe Alamance have raised and given away at least $93,500 to individuals and businesses in the last three weeks! Thank you for your abundant generosity!
About 30% of those funds were given to individuals and about 70% were given to businesses, farms, and nonprofit organizations.

The Grant Committee will consider another round of grants in September – the grant cycle will close at midnight on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, and the committee will make every effort to notify you within 72 hours. Grant applications are available on our website: https://saxapahawforward.org/flood-relief. If you have previously applied and received a grant, and you are experiencing ongoing challenges from the flood in Saxapahaw, please reapply with the new details.
Alamance County’s Disaster Recovery Center is located at 319 N Graham-Hopedale Rd in Burlington, NC where you can apply for Individual Assistance or an SBA loan. This center is part of the Alamance County Health Services and is open Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Please note that it is scheduled to close permanently on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at 1 p.m. You can also apply for SBA loans online at https://lending.sba.gov until September 23, 2025, for physical damage, and April 27, 2026, for economic injury. The United Way of Alamance County continues to offer up to $1,000 in emergency assistance to individuals and families significantly impacted by the flooding in Alamance County for housing (rent or mortgage), utilities (electric and water), or transportation (car repairs).
