Dear Neighbors & Friends -
It’s April, and the world is waking up! If you slow down and look around, you’ll witness nature building, weaving, and collaborating in ways that feel both ancient and brand new.
Up in the trees, great blue herons gather in rookeries—each tending their own nest while drawing strength from the safety and support of the group. It’s a lot like Netwalking: we show up first as individuals, but something beautiful takes shape when we come together: new friendships, unexpected collaborations, and a strong community that holds space for curiosity, connection, and the kind of conversations that linger long after the walk is over.
Down by the water, river otters slide joyfully along the banks. Their playful movement stirs the sediment, spreads nutrients, and creates space for other life to thrive - a reminder that even small, joyful acts can ripple out and reshape the landscape around us.
Nature has so much to teach us about strong, resilient networks. What if we built our human connections with that same kind of care?
April's schedule follows our usual pattern with walks at various times throughout the day. I'm excited to offer special sunrise and sunset walks this month to experience the trail in different lights. Check the calendar below (and attached) for specific dates and times. The trail—and your network—is waiting!
Warmly,
Amy Beth
