Sidewalks:
from Haw Village to the Village
through the Village
from the Village to BEJ Elementary School
up Moore's Chapel Cemetery Rd at least to the Campground
from the Village to Timberlake
Crosswalks:
improve safety of crosswalk at Hawbridge/General Store
add crosswalks at Paperhand
add crosswalk for better access to The Hill / Post Office
add crosswalk across Church Rd toward Campground
Bike Lanes:
from 54 to 87
up Sweps-Sax Rd
Improve entrance/exit to/from Island Park
Safer way to cross river on foot
Add roundabout in front of Paperhand
Traffic calming measures everywhere!
Better School Zone markings for Hawbridge
Better signage coming into the Village (from all directions)

Pedestrian bridge over Mote's Creek on Sax-Beth Ch Rd

Adding a trail from the Boy Scout Cabin to the Farm Loop / Motes Creek
The Saxapahaw Forward board will be meeting on June 10th to further review this data and begin planning our next steps. Thank you again for your participation! We raised over $600 at the Community Meeting – a step in the right direction! We are truly grateful for your support.
